If you’ve been keeping up with Danny’s work over the years, you’ll know there’s no-one quite like him for creating his own worlds, ones that work purely according to Sangra logic. That goes for his painted, illustrative and moving image work.
There is another Sangra world, however, that you probably don’t know about – the one he creates for and with his young son Aato.
As you can see from the work here, Aato’s world includes his own news kiosk, a garage for his Countach, and fellow citizens including cats, birds and dinosaurs. And all created by thinking inside the box. Literally, albeit cardboard ones.
It just goes to prove that Danny’s style can work for any audience, and for kids of all ages. Just ask Aato.
