Seeing eye to eye

While shut away like the rest of us, James Joyce decided to make use of various bits of card, like the backs of old sketch pads, that he found lying around in his studio or at home. You can see exactly what he did with them in the little film clip here, creating a series of unique 210 x 297mm paintings, each one painted by hand.

Unable to resist it, he’s called them ‘eyesolation paintings’ and is offering them for sale. Very limited in number, you can see more of them on his Instagram @jamesmjoyce, from where you can contact James for pricing and details of how to get hold of one.
