Inspiring creativity. Founded by Olivia Triggs in 2007, Breed is a London-based illustration agency representing a select group of highly individual talents. We currently look after the work of 15 artists, illustrators and photographers, each with their own distinct style and perspective.
We pride ourselves on both the vision and variety of our artists and the lasting role we play in nurturing their talent, supporting their creative goals and finding opportunities where they can further explore their abilities.
With a hands-on approach, a culturally aware outlook and a spirited attitude, we’re the UK’s go-to agency for original art, photography and illustration.
We work with clients in spheres ranging from advertising and brands to fashion and retail and more. Below you can see a few of the names we’ve worked with in recent months.
Cat Garcia works across portrait, editorial and advertising photography, capturing people and places with a lightness of touch and sense of storytelling. Her work celebrates individuality and the simple, authentic beauty of her subjects.
Cat’s personal series, entitled Our Time, was released as a book in 2014, documenting the lives of 60 of Britain’s most creative talents including Sir Peter Blake, Bella Freud, Giles Deacon, Gavin Turk, Fergus Henderson and Sir Paul Smith. The book combines black and white and colour portraits with telling incidental details from the ordinary lives of extraordinary people. See www.thisisourtimebook.com for full details on the series.
Cat’s background in design and art direction is evident with a strong graphic approach to her photography.
Clients include BAFTA, Belstaff, Harrods, Matchesfashion.com, Mr Porter, Rolls-Royce, Royal Academy of Arts, Soho House, The Sunday Times Style and Vanity Fair.
Cat exhibited her personal series entitled Quarterly at the Leica Gallery Mayfair, London, in November 2017. More recently, at the same gallery in July 2019, she exhibited work created alongside photojournalist Emily Garthwaite for the Belstaff x Leica series ‘Everyday Heroes’. These images showed people who have made a real contribution to their communities in the Scottish Highlands and Hebrides.
