Maisy Summer – Two new images of New York
So good, she painted it twice
A couple of pieces from Maisy inspired by past trips to New York. Showing Times Square and Central Park, she put them together from photographs and videos she took and made during those trips, seeking to get across a real sense of New York’s bustling cityscape.
She used gouache, pastels and pencils to create the pieces, before scanning them into her computer to add detail.
