Neal Murren away with the faeries
Neal Murren merges country sports and rural folklore in a new piece he’s produced. Created in intricate detail in watercolour and pencil, and called ‘Hunting for Faeries’, it shows red-coated huntsmen and their hounds pursuing little folk through a landscape of toadstools. Whether you want to read some commentary on society into it or just enjoy it as an intriguing image is entirely up to you. For now, Neal is keeping his own counsel.
