Annie will be running her Graphic Design for Filmmaking Portfolio Workshop once a month this year in Dublin, beginning Saturday and Sunday 11-12 March 2023.
The course provides a grounding in designing graphic props and set pieces that will help a director realise their vision and fit the time period, setting and visual aesthetic of a film. Annie wants to point out that she’s changed the thrust of her courses a little, so that they are now designed to help start a design portfolio rather than talking through the more technical side of the filmmaking process. Though that side is still dealt with in handouts, and Annie will be happy to answer any questions you may have during the course. If you’re wondering whether you’ll get a certificate, the answer is yes, but you’ll have to make it yourself as part of the course.
