Matt Blease has illustrated Aldo Sohm’s Wine Simple, a new book whose subtitle describes it as ‘a totally approachable guide from a world-class sommelier’. And ‘world-class sommelier’ rather understates Aldo’s credentials, as he’s the Wine Director at Le Bernardin as well as at his own Manhattan wine bar, a winemaker at Sohm & Kracher and was voted Best Sommelier in the World 2008.
Wine Simple is an accessible guide to getting the most from your wine choices, with tips ranging from how to taste wine to uncorking champagne with a sabre. The book is published on 19 November 2019, and you can pre-order signed copies from Aldo Sohm himself.
