Some new personal work from Paula Castro sees her producing a couple of still lives of cacti and pre-Columbian art from the Americas. In a series of subsequent pieces, she takes elements from those earlier studies and incorporates them into situations and fantasy environments, some of which include a well-known cartoon mouse. But not the Disney one this time.
