Anna Bu Kliewer illustrates an autobiographical story by journalist Andrew McCormick in the New York Times Magazine. Titled ‘The V.A. Made Me Vomit. And That Was a Good Thing.’, it looks at how a period of sleeplessness and anxiety led him to a Veterans Affairs hospital for the first time, where the event referred to in the title happened. And how it all led back to his time as an intelligence officer in the US Navy.
