Craig & Karl – mini-golf at Canary Wharf

Birdies at Canary Wharf

Craig & Karl have designed a mini-golf course, which is open now at Canary Wharf. As you can see from these photos by Sean Pollock, the course has transformed its location in Montgomery Square into a riot of vibrant colours and fun geometric shapes, making the obstacles to be overcome between ball and hole even more challenging. Those obstacles include a neon orange jump ramp, a pink and yellow chequered bridge and a polka-dotted barrier.

It certainly stands out in the context of Canary Wharf. As Karl says: “The element of surprise is one of things we love about creating work for public spaces – encountering something in an unexpected context can make it quite powerful.”

Installed by White Wall Co, the 9-hole course is free and open every day throughout the summer from 12-6pm. Once a month, on 23 June, 18 August and 22 September, the course is also open into the evening.
