‘Deliberations’ now open at Eleven
Natasha Law’s new exhibition ‘Deliberations’ has now opened at Eleven gallery. It’s showing a series of her large-scale works of female figures in striking colours rendered in gloss paint – intimate portraits despite the fact the women appear as silhouettes. Natasha works with models in the early stages of her works, capturing their poses, often in the process of getting dressed (or maybe undressed). She then creates her pieces using a painstaking process of painting a layer of paint, sanding it down, then adding a new layer. This process can go on for weeks before she’s happy with the final image.
The exhibition runs until 28 September 2019, andyou can see more at elevenfineart.com
