Recently, Anna Bu Kliewer stumbled on a book dating back to 1966 full of beautiful images of ancient vases. Inspired, she gathered the leftover bits of paperwork from cut-outs she’s created in recent months and decided to use them rather than waste them. The challenge was to use them in conjunction with images from the book, but without using scissors, just glue. This meant she had to focus on the shapes already formed in the bits of paper to create something more abstract.
