The art of falling apart
Anna Bu Kliewer’s just illustrated the story of writer/journalist Michael Holden’s attempt to find himself through meditation at a Buddhist retreat in Herefordshire. Things didn’t go entirely to plan.
Without giving too much away, Michael ended up in handcuffs, and Anna’s images show the lack of hoped-for calm going on inside his head. The full story appears in the latest issue of Esquire, and you can read it here.
