Making an elemental note
Anna Bu Kliewer has illustrated the opening editor’s letter in the latest edition of Flaunt, the LA-based cultural and fashion magazine. Anna uses a slightly different style in this illustration. It may be that this is the head-spinning result of what editor Matthew Bedard talks about in his letter – that the issue started off built around a theme of ‘inclusion’, but by the time it was going to press the magazine had become ‘The Elemental Issue’. But that’s not for us to say.
