Between now and October, Annie is embarking on an occasional series of talks around Europe, including a stop in Milton Keynes on 14 May as part of the international creative, design and digital festival All Flows.

The talk is titled ‘Mastering the Art of Levitation’ and looks at the way handmade props can give a greater sense of reality to fictional worlds whether that be in film or books.
A case in point is Annie’s forthcoming book Cackle Crackle: Letters from the Witch, which is an interactive picture book for children, with illustrations by Taryn Knight, featuring pull-out letters and spells designed by Annie.
