Taking inspiration from the geometrical form, Andy Gilmore has created some beautifully colourful new works he calls ‘Golden Sections’.
The golden section, also known as the golden ratio, was originally defined by Greek mathematician Euclid, and has been used by artists and architects in the proportions of their work ever since, as well as making appearances in the natural world, such as the spiral arrangement of fern leaves.
