Last Saturday’s Guardian Weekend magazine featured a cover painted by Peter Blake as part of a ‘creativity special’. Inside, Peter Blake was one of a number of artists asked to reveal, and illustrate, their favourite walks (for the record, his is a walk he used to take with his daughter, along Duke’s Avenue, near Chiswick House).

Other artists taking part included David Shrigley, Martin Parr, Lubaina Himid and Maria Lisogorskaya.

Cat Garcia took the original portrait of Peter Blake at work in his studio that introduces the article. You can read the article in full here.
