Kate Moross – on Adobe’s new tools inspired by Keith Haring

Writing on the wall

Legendary street artist and social activist Keith Haring has long been a hero to Kate Moross, so they were excited to hear that Adobe was creating a set of tools based on Keith’s ways of making his mark – including chalk, markers and spray paint. And even more excited to be asked to work with Adobe on the launch of their new Keith Haring toolkit.

Kate has created a work with the Adobe tools and they will also be taking part in Pictoplasma 2020 as a speaker, talking about the Adobe collaboration and what Keith Haring and his work means to them.

Famously, Haring said ‘art is for everybody’ and it’s that idea that lies behind Adobe’s new tools, which are free to download and can be used in both Adobe Fresco and Photoshop.

Pictoplasma 2020 is this year’s version of the annual festival and conference on design and art put on by Pictoplasma, the platform for contemporary character design and art. This year, for obvious reasons, will be entirely digital, instead of taking place in its usual home of Berlin. It will be broadcast live over two days on 18 and 19 September, with over 30 talks, symposiums and more, all for free.
