Cat Garcia – New film about ceramicist Florian Gadsby
New film for Make Hauser & Wirth Somerset
Cat has made a new film, ‘Maker: Florian Gadsby’ about ceramicist Florian Gadsby. Using a gas kiln in North London, Florian creates hand-thrown stoneware pottery in angular forms. Cat’s film, with music by Carlos Garcia, was commissioned by Make Hauser & Wirth Somerset for their group exhibition ‘Hot Water for Tea’.
We’ve included some of the still photography shot by Cat from her time spent with Florian.
The exhibition itself, opens on 25 May and runs until 28 July at Make Hauser & Wirth Somerset.
