Annie Atkins – appearing in Tessiore’s Orlando
Orlando, as you like it
Orlando is a biannual culture magazine put out by the Italian publishing house Tessiore. It covers the widest possible definition of culture, ranging from art to music to architecture. Though it’s far from just another glossy mag, aiming to be a beautiful object in itself, using selected papers and containing inserts, unusual packaging and other surprises.
Annie’s appearance in Orlando is a case in point, as rather than a straightforward interview, she’s being asked questions by objects she’s designed, including a box of matches, a menu and a love letter. Also included will be a postcard insert featuring Annie’s design for ‘Orlando’s Sanitary Toothsoap’.
