Putting Balvanera on her map
Last year, we showed some work Paula Castro was doing for a real estate broker, helping to illustrate maps being drawn of the neighbourhood of Balvanera in Buenos Aires. We can now tell you more about the project.
It’s for CMNV Comunidad de Inversión (Investment Community), the brokers, whose new development will include housing and a park designed by artist Pablo Siquier. Paula created the map showing the area surrounding the new development, with illustration of the iconic buildings already standing there, as well as the new buildings that will now take their place among them.
The map is designed to highlight the cultural mix of the community as well as the most important avenues, transport connections, and places of architectural interest.
