Selected for the Royal Academy’s Summer Exhibition

We’re very pleased to be able to pass on the news that James Joyce has had a piece accepted by the Royal Academy for their prestigious Summer Exhibition.

This is the 250th anniversary of the Summer Exhibition, and James’ piece, a clown painting titled ‘It would be funny if it wasn’t true’, had to win the approval of a selection committee led by Grayson Perry.

The Summer Exhibition opens at the newly refurbished and expanded Royal Academy on 12 June. In the meantime, you can find out more at royalacademy.org.uk and we’ll keep you posted on further developments.
