Phillippa Mills has produced a new personal piece – a portrait of her horse, who probably has wings (but only on Wednesdays) which initially inspired a piece of writing. In turn, the words inspired an image. We present both words and picture here for you.

Relaxed wing.’

‘Utter rot! I’m

designed for Sidesaddle.

When I was born

there were two of us

The other half of me

is somewhere else

you see.”
