Drawing the lines

Steven Wilson designed the artwork for ‘Crossing Lines’, the latest album by Vida Blue, a band formed by Phish keyboardist Page McConnell with Oteil Burbridge of the Allman Brothers Band and Russell Batiste of The Meters. As you can see, the artwork features a geometric design, which Steven has used as the basis for a number of colourful variations.

Taking their name from baseball star Vida Rochelle Blue Jr, the band got started early this century, releasing two albums and touring between 2001 and 2004. After a long hiatus, they got back together in 2019, so far releasing this album and a single.
