New work for Sunspel’s Aran Jumper
Cat has provided the photography for Sunspel’s new Aran Roll Neck Jumper, plus a moving image piece with music by Carlos Garcia. The Aran fisherman-style jumper has long been a winter design classic. And now it’s been recreated by Sunspel, in collaboration with Matt Hranek, founder of quarterly men’s lifestyle magazine WM Brown, using super-soft Scottish lambswool. The luxurious yarn used has been sourced from one of Scotland’s oldest spinners, and blended with soft Geelong lambswool. The jumpers are made by specialists in Dumfriesshire using unique knitting machines to create Sunspel’s garter stitch and cable pattern.
