Danny Sangra – new animated video for The Beatles

The Beatles’ Revolver album, originally released in 1966, is about to be rereleased later this month in newly remixed and expanded Special Editions. As part of the promotion leading up to the launch, Danny was asked to create an animated video for the lead track from the album ‘Taxman’.
It’s being released at 5pm BST today.
To say we’re excited to show it is an understatement.
This is the latest in a series of Beatles-related animated videos Danny has made over the last couple of years, often at the request of George Harrison’s family. And this one is pretty special for him, as he was given the complete trust of the Beatles’ team and the freedom to try out new ideas. You can see the amount of work he’s put into creating something he’s proud of. ‘Taxman’ was written by George Harrison, with a little help from John Lennon, after being told that the individual Beatles were facing bankruptcy due to extremely high taxation.
