The Forgotten Her Story
The Forgotten Her Story is a new project set up by Manuela Wirth to tell stories celebrating the lives and craft of remarkable women creators. Its official launch is in November 2024, though the first stories can already be seen on their Instagram page, featuring art collector and curator (and Manuela’s mother) Ursula Hauser, founder of Little Angel Theatre Lyndie Wright, fashion designer Kazu Huggler, and cookery writer Anna Del Conte. The latter piece, with Anna, was shot by Cat Garcia.
Cat has also made a film that sees Anna in conversation with her granddaughter Coco, talking warmly of a life that took her from childhood in Milan to bringing authentic Italian cuisine to Britain. The music for the film was composed by Carlos Garcia.
