Staying on track
The Road Rat is a magazine dedicated to over a century of motoring culture and the most beautiful vehicles to be found on the road. In the latest issue motoring journalist and race driver Richard Meaden takes to the track of six of the UK’s most charismatic motor racing circuits. Each circuit has been illustrated by a separate artist for the article, and the work you see here is James’s take on Donington Park, looking like Scalextric track. Donington Park may have held only one Formula 1 race – the 1993 European Grand Prix – but still holds star quality according to Meaden.
