Sharing ‘Universal Love’

Craig & Karl designed the cover for a new vinyl EP with a long overdue take on an old songwriting theme and some very big names included. Their work, which came through artist management agency Levine/Leavitt adorns ‘Universal Love’ which reimagines wedding songs for the LGBTQ community.

The six artists included are Bob Dylan, Kesha, St Vincent, Benjamin Gibbard of Death Cab for Cutie, Kele Okereke of Bloc Party and country and blues singer Valerie June. Each performs a well-known song, but gives it a same-sex twist with a change of pronoun. So, Dylan chose to sing ‘She’s Funny That Way’, a song made famous by Frank Sinatra and Nat King Cole, but changed the pronoun to ‘He’s Funny That Way’.
